  2. AL says:

First of all, the suction is excellent – Dyson DC23’s suction may be stronger than the top of the line Miele S5 and S7.

Another poster mentioned the design flaw that you can’t hold the unit while vacuuming. I also found this to be true, and I believe this is a major flaw.

Another flaw is that this machine does not move well. Unlike the highly maneuverable Miele canister, you can’t kick Dyson DC23 away. The problem is most noticeable in a small room, since you can’t move the canister sideways. Combined with the issue that the airflow leaks when you pick up the vacuum by its handle (the only handle is on the cyclone assembly), these design flaws can’t be explained and makes me wonder about the competency of the Dyson engineers.

If Dyson can fix these two problems (maneuverability and leaking airflow), this Dyson canister will be perfect.

  3. vacuum cleaners with very powerful motors are the ones that we always buy, they are a bit expensive but definitely better *
